Marc by Marc Jacobs steps into the spotlight for fall 2011 with a rich collection of seventies inspired sportswear. Keeping with the overall 1970’s influence and sophistication of spring, the fall line is updated with tweeds, patterned velvet, animal prints and fur.

A collaboration with artist Michael Roberts sets the tone for animal inspired prints and details this season. Overall styling is smple and tailored, allowing for the print and fluid shape of the garments to be the focus, while gold hardware, sweeping hermlines and metallics keep the seventies influence romantic and modern. We also add versatility to these pieces through the introduction of a new line of premium denim.
